The 2025 Northern Colorado Kumite

Welcome to the 2025 Northern Colorado Kumite! This year's event — put on by Kaizen Karate & Self-Defense — is taking place on June 7, 2025, at the Windsor Recreation Center in Windsor, CO. We are excited to bring participants from all over Colorado and neighboring states.
The Northern Colorado Kumite is the 3rd tournament in the Colorado Karate Association's year-long tournament series of six. As an AAA tournament, participants can continue to add points to their CKA profile by placing in their divisions, and try to earn their spot for a state championship and a coveted Top 20 for all of the CKA for 2025.

The 2025 NoCo Kumite is once again being held at the Windsor Community Recreation Center (WCRC) is located at 250 11th Street in Windsor. Participants arriving for the judges meetings and early divisions can park within the WCR parking lot.
Once this lot is full, we ask that those arriving for later divisions to park in auxiliary parking directly east of the WCRC and 11th Street in the Windsor High School (WHS) parking lot. It is a very short walk across 11th to get to the WCRC.
We ask that participants and spectators enter the Recreation Center on the east side, not through the main doors. This is due to the fact that although the main gym is occupied with the tournament, the rec center is still open for community members and thus is cordoned off.
You can get your wrist bands, spectator passes, sign up for additional divisions, obtain your trophies, and use the restroom and water fountains in this area.
